The SmartClass^TM Fiber series OLP-85 and OLP-85P optical power meters are integrated solutions combining fiber end-face "Pass/Fail" analysis with optical power measurement. With a dynamic range of 100dB, the OLP-85 and OLP-85P handheld optical power meters are perfect representatives of professional, versatile, and compact instruments, suitable for various applications in measuring optical power and loss in any fiber optic network. Their high-accuracy performance across the full range means that the OLP-85 and OLP-85P can be perfectly applied in both low-power and extremely high-power measurements.

In addition to 24-hour field standby capability, the OLP-85 and OLP-85P are ideal for maintenance and installation in office centers, production environments, and laboratory workbenches, and can be remotely operated via their USB or Ethernet interfaces.

By adding the P5000i fiber inspection microscope to the OLP-85 or OLP-85P, users can inspect fiber end-face quality and automatically determine "Pass/Fail" with the press of a single button, obtaining certified results.

The OLP-85P features an integrated patch cord microscope (PCM) to improve workflow efficiency.

When paired with the OLS-85 light source, the OLP-85 or OLP-85P optical power meters offer the most powerful feature—automated testing, which avoids manual errors and increases testing speed. Automated testing functions, such as auto-wavelength testing and multi-wavelength testing, send transmitted wavelength information to the receiver. A compatible optical power meter with automated testing capability will automatically set the wavelength, enabling precise measurement of up to four wavelengths simultaneously and supporting multi-wavelength continuous wave testing. Users can easily store time-stamped results (power, loss, and fiber inspection) and generate and save comprehensive test reports on the OLP-85 or OLP-85P.
